Health insurance coverage

Dutch helath insurance only covers the costs of alternative psychological help in some cases (when you purchase the most expensive additional coverage), and if they do only up to 40 euro per day, up to an annual amount. I have decided not to follow the extra rules and guidelines set by Dutch health insurances. Therefore the costs for sessions will not be covered by any Dutch health insurance.

My prices are low, when compared to colleagues. And as I do not use diagnoses, strict protocols and ‘workbooks’, I put you and your problem in the centre. People tend to be helped enough in 5-6 sessions to continue their lives without additional help. Often they return one year later for one or two sessions as a refreshment. Of course the amount of sessions needed depends on your own commitment, the nature of the problems and how stuck someone is into their patterns. Change takes time, but because of working with ACT and art I am able to quickly come to the essence of the problem instead of wasting time on the stories we tell ourselves about our problems.
